What do the caped crusader and the man without fear have in common? They both were inspired by the pulp character the Black Bat. It was when I worked on a Black Bat story that I learned about this connection and much more, but long before that I thought that it would be fun for Bruce Wayne and Matt Murdock to switch places. It would make a lot of sense for Batman to have echolocation like a Bat. And Daredevil to be the wealthy inheritor of his family fortune.
